Hey, welcome to Good Moves Studio. We’re so glad you’re here. This page is your guide to who we are, what we teach, and what it’s like to be part of our team. Have a read, and if it feels right, we can’t wait to meet you.
Good Moves is a Pilates studio in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg built to make movement feel good in body, mind, and energy.
We offer intentional, energising classes in a bright space where challenge is supported and teachers create room for people to move in ways that work for their own bodies. Our mission is to deliver powerful, precise movement in an inclusive space where teaching is flexible, curiosity is encouraged, and every body is met with respect.
Ergonomic, friendly, vibrant. Communication is empathetic, clear, and easy to understand.
It shows in every interaction, every class, every greeting, every event, every message.
High standards. Certified teachers. A well-equipped, ever-evolving studio.
Creating moments for people to come together, feel energised, and explore the boundaries of movement.
Every class has a clear purpose, a distinct energy, and an audience in mind. Here’s what we’re teaching right now.
Pilates with purpose. Dynamic, full-body sequences that layer in resistance and props to challenge your strength, sharpen your stability, and build real control from your core out.
Weights woven into every Pilates sequence, sculpting strength and building the kind of control that stays with you. Better posture, stronger joints, more confidence in every movement.
Smooth, controlled movement on sliders. Brings the burn in all the best ways.
Coached, full-body strength work with kettlebells, dumbbells and bodyweight, in station and circuit formats. Built for beginners finding their confidence and regulars chasing progress.
Guided work on range of motion for hips, spine and shoulders. For office bodies and athletes alike, no dance background required. You leave moving easier than you arrived.
We’re also looking to expand into other creative types of movement classes. If you teach beyond Pilates, we’d love to hear about it.
This position is offered on a freelance basis, simply because that’s what works best in Germany right now for most movement professionals. But freelance doesn’t mean disconnected.
We believe how you’re hired shouldn’t define how supported or valued you feel. You’re invited into a team that shares ideas, builds community, and moves toward a bigger mission together.
We provide tools, guidance, and structure, but every instructor brings their own voice, creativity, and teaching style. That’s something we honour deeply.
We offer a competitive freelance rate, and we’re continuously working toward raising industry standards and improving the experience for everyone who teaches here. We’ll walk through the specifics together at the interview.
Here’s what we’re looking for in the people who teach at Good Moves.
Have these ready before you start. You’ll fill the whole form in one go.
One short form covering your background, qualifications, availability, and documents. Start at the link below.
Evelyne from our team rings you for a 15-minute hello: who you are, what you teach, and what you're looking for.
Meet Alexandra at the studio for a 1:1 chat, then teach a short audition so we both get a real feel for the fit.
If it's a match, we'll send a contract and work out class slots that fit your availability. Then you're officially part of the Good Moves team. 🎉
As a freelancer in Germany, you manage your own health insurance (Krankenversicherung), pension contributions, and tax declarations. We respect your autonomy and won’t interfere, but we’re happy to point you toward resources, answer questions, or connect you with other freelancers who’ve navigated the same path.
